Trees, trees everywhere!

This amazing quilt is too large to get a good picture, but you need to look at it in sections of color. Mimi pieced this block of the month using the paper piecing technique and there are over 800 trees in this quilt! Every inch of this quilt is made from Liberty of London fabric and it so soft and silky!

Meandering Loops 001 was the quilting pattern, quilted with white thread.
Offset near the bottom is this little house in the woods! Mimi wanted to quilt the area around the house herself and she quilted a path coming down from the house and wind and even smoke coming out of the chimney. She finished it right away after picking up the quilt and it is so cool!
She decided she's paper pieced enough trees in her life now! Lol!
She used up her scraps from this quilt and another one that she had done with Liberty of London fabrics to construct a large enough backing. Spectacular quilt!!
