I am the CEO of Acorn Ridge Quilting. I do quilting on my longarm quilting machine for many wonderful customers. DUE TO MY WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR CLOSING HER SERVER AND NOT IN CONTACT WITH HER CUSTOMERS ANYMORE, MY WEBSITE WILL SOON COME DOWN.
This quilt was made by Anna and Pat. The blocks contain of 100 1" pieces in each of them and it's a huge quilt! It's for next year's raffle quilt for the guild and get ready to see it in person at the Applejack Festival in September in Nebraska City! They certainly did a wonderful job in making this quilt! They named it the Modern Postage Stamp Quilt.
The quilting pattern was Modern Meander and quilted with Natural thread color.
The borders will be cut in a wavelike curve, not a true scallop but a soft wave.
Everyone will want to buy raffle tickets on this quilt!
Jean brought this quilt to me to finish the quilting. Her grandmother at the age of 99 and 100 had embroidered the blocks. Her friend hand quilted the embroidered blocks on the lines that had been marked to quilt. Another friend set the blocks together with the rail fence blocks and I quilted the alternate blocks and the borders to finish the quilt. It's for Jean's son and his wife to be! They will absolutely cherish this quilt!
The quilting pattern on the alternate blocks was Hello Hearts Wreath.
Beautifully done, the embroidery and the hand quilting!
The border design quilted with Silver thread color.
This was a Mystery quilt that was on a Facebook site . I decided to do the quilt . I told a friend and she decided to do it, too. Then she told her sister and she decided to make the quilt, too. And we have a quilt group of 4 people so we decided to tell the 4th person, that being Sarah about it and she made the quilt, too! And she has hers done now and the other two have their quilts done, too, but have yet to bring them to me to quilt, but do I have mine done? Ah, no, but I will some day!!:)
All made with various Diamond Textile fabrics! Chestnut Swirls was the quilting pattern , quilted with Sandbar thread color.
