Lois pieced this little masterpiece! It is of course a Jen Kingwell pattern, known for so may tiny pieces! It's so wide I could not get it in one picture so the sides follow. |
I quilted it with Chestnut Swirls to give it a good texture. |
The thread was Sesame Seeds. |
These represent hills and Lois appliqued them, a great feat! Click on the pictures for a closer look. The pieces are so small!! |
A barn here with a couple of churn-dash blocks. |
Pinwheels and more applique. |
The fabrics are so varied and exciting! |
More tiny pinwheels. |
The sky and all the variations in it. I would hate to cut all those tiny squares. |
These embroideries were suppose to be the Eiffel Tower and another landmark, but it is Lois's small world so she embroidered the Sidney Rodeo and a building in Riverton, near where she lives! |
More applique. |
The arrow blocks jump out. |
Even a building here. |
The top of the building and more sky prints. |
Amazing quilt and job well done! |
The bright backing. |
