Sheri's Vintage Tin Quilt

Sheri hand embroidered this quilt for her son, Matt. It's a Crabapple Hill pattern called Vintage Tin, however, Sheri added some special touches to the embroidery to make a one of a kind quilt, for her son.

She chose the Pickup Sticks Pano 001 quilting pattern.

This truck was done in pink thread as Sheri's father had a pink truck that he ended up giving to his grandson, Matt.

I like her corn sashing!

The pattern had motorcycles here, but a tractor made more sense for her son's quilt.

 This building is renamed Matt's.

The license plates were altered to reflect Nebraska and many of the  numbers on this quilt are birth dates or dates to remember for various reasons.

Taupe Beige thread was used.

This block represents all the places that Matt has lived. The tiny truck needlepoint patch was actually done by Matt when he was young, so of course it needed to be on his quilt!

A lot of great needlework!

A great job and it's finished!!
