Quilt to be Auctioned!

This quilt is AWESOME! The blocks were given to the United Methodist Women's group of Weeping Water and Jean set the blocks and then brought it to me to quilt. The quilt will be auctioned off for the charities of the Methodist churches. I don't know the name of the person who made the blocks but her embroidery is perfection! The stems are flawless and the the buttonhole stitch has every other stitch long than a short stitch and is amazing! The satin stitches are to die for!

Jean chose Butterfly  1 Panto for the quilting pattern.

Dyed natural was the thread used.

Feed sacks for the butterfly and soft solids for the flowers.

Quite a bit of eye candy here.

Just beautiful!

I bet the price will go high!

Variegated thread with the buttonhole stitch.

The backing fabric.
