Just when I thought it was safe....

A customer had just picked up her quilts today and we were talking about the critters around here and I told her that I had only seen 2 snakes around here in the 8 years that we have been here. She left and a few minutes later I opened the door to see this little snake trying to figure out how to come inside. I slammed the door and went out the other door and took the picture. We thought he was dead and the cats had placed him there as a gift, but he was alive and well and was transported to the side of the house! Must be winter is coming as all things want to come inside!
