| I have traced my family tree for years and I had some letters written in German and I had them sitting around for years, not knowing what they might reveal. But lucky for me, my daughter got new neighbors and they are from Germany so I asked them if they would translate the letters and they did! I wanted to pay for the translations, but they did not send me a bill with the material so I decided that they needed a quilt! |

| I had a quilting pattern digitized just for this quilt with snowflakes and Merry Christmas written in English and German. I just hope I've spelled Merry Christmas in German correctly! |
