Sharon's Painted Quilt

Sharon's mother-in-law had put this quilt together. Actually she had made FIVE of these quilts! The family found this last one that needed to be quilted. The state trees, flowers and birds were traced onto blocks and then she painted each of them! What a keepsake to have! Incredible to see firsthand! A very large, special quilt!

The center of the quilt with the Bald Eagle!

Chambray was the thread color used.

The quilting pattern was Meandering Loops.

This shows the border on the quilt.
