Alyce's Second Bandanna Quilt

This is the second quilt that Alyce has made with bandannas. Now she has made one for each of her girls as a memory of their grandfather who worked on the railroad and always had a red or blue bandanna with him.

Awesome Blossom was the quilting pattern .

Black thread was used.

The borders.

Nicely done!

And the backing has also been pieced!

Kylee's 4-H Project!

Kylee  will finish this beautiful quilt just in time to take it to her county fair!

She chose Stars and Stripes Pano 001 for the quilting pattern.

Fisherman Red was the thread used.

Nice 9 patches surround the quilt for a pleasing border.

Very patriotic quilt!

Nice job! And hope you win a big ribbon!

The backing.

Janice's Little Dahlia Quilt

Janice made this very large quilt for a surprise for her daughter, Twila. Twila has seen the quilt, but does not realize yet that it is for her! Won't she be surprised!

A lot of piecing and sewing went into this quilt!

Janice chose Meandering Loops for the quilting pattern.

Burgundy thread was used.

The border.

The backing.

Delta's String of Lights Quilt

Delta pieced this quilt and brought it to me to custom quilt it.

She wanted simple quilting on this and so there were two alternating patterns that were used.

Coronado thread was used.

Nicely done!

A very striking quilt!

The backing really shows the two patterns.

My Transparency Quilt

I saw this quilt made up in a quilt shop and decided to make it.  The dark blocks really stand out when viewed at a distance. It is a Weeks Ringle pattern and I decided to custom quilt it.

The main blocks. I used Sage Green thread on these blocks and Baccarat Green on the rest of the quilt which was a blueish green color.

The sashing strips down the centers of the blocks.

The border designs.

An inner border design.

Outside block designs.

A bit different from what I usually make, but had to try it!

The floral backing. I will also bind it with this fabric.

Jeff & Tricia's Wedding Quilt

Diane finally finished Tricia and Jeff's wedding quilt, it only took 16 years! LOL! But that is great for me because I am only 2 1/2 years past the time of my daughter's wedding so there is hope to get that one done!

They live for horses so Kicking Up A Storm was chosen for the quilting pattern!

Teal thread was used.

A lot of piecing went in to this huge quilt! They will love this quilt!

The borders.

The backing even has a pieced area going down the back.

The back really shows the horse galloping across the quilt.
