| Take a close look at this quilt! Edith created this gem as a wedding gift. She made it for her granddaughter's roommate , Alex, who is from Africa. Alex will love this quilt. She knows what each of the symbols means and Edith appliqued some of them on the top and bottom of the quilt. She then found a piece of fabric that had countries on it and cut out the shape of Africa. |
