Sara's Crafternooners 30's Sampler

Sara made this quilt as did the other members of her quilt group, the Crafternooners, as each month another member of the group presented the block of her choice and then each person made that quilt block for their own quilt and their own choice of fabrics. So in the end, all will have the same quilt but made with their own fabrics, they will all look different. It is amazing how they look like completely different quilts when done in different fabrics. A great idea for a quilt group project.

And with all 30's fabrics, this couldn't get any cuter!

Add the quilting pattern called Whimsey Butterfly 001 and it's just right!

The piano key border!

Teatime Turquoise was the thread used.

Very unique blocks.

I love this star block.

These two blocks, card trick and the paper pieced one above were two of Sara's blocks where she provided the pattern.

I love these basket blocks, too. On my bucket list!

She even put a row of piano keys down the backing.
