Cora's Winter Coat

Cora is here again visiting for a week or so, and I thought she needed a new winter coat so here it is, pink fleece, a brown inside and she's snug as a bug although she tried to chew it a bit.
It was all made on the longarm!

I think she likes it but she thought  we were headed outside while I was trying to put it on her.  Have you ever tried to put a coat on a wiggly dog?

Julia's Quilted Fleece Quilt

I have a distant cousin who I met on a genealogy yahoo site where we discovered that we are cousins. She has been going through some tough times with her health and so I thought this would keep her warm on those long winter nights in New York state!

I used the Whimsical Hearts quilting pattern and grey thread.

This is the backing, a very favorite pattern from French General with the berries matching the front fleece!

She wrapped up with it when she received it and told me her cat, Panda, slept on it, too! Cats do love fleece! :)

Donna's Skate!

Here is Donna's latest embroidery masterpiece! It has all the sparkle and glitz that is needed! So nice!

A CrabApple Hill embroidery patter  course.

Custom quilted with Squiggle lines and  grid crosshatching on the stars.

Wonderful soft pinks and browns blend to make really nice star blocks.

Orchid Pink thread was on the stars and Pearl thread was on the center panel.

Notice the sparkles and metallic threads in the embroidery.

Ready for her Christmas!

The backing showing the quilting.

Kayla's Quilt

I put this small fleece quilt together for a dog lover that I know. I hope she likes it!

I put a red binding on it just for a touch of color.

The backing a sort of flannel fabric.

Dog Bones Pano 001 was the quilting pattern and Mohair was the thread choice.

Ellie's Quilt

Linda made this quilt out of blocks that her quilt group made plus several others that she made.  Ellie, her great niece, will love this quilt!

Patriotic colors, it's what Ellie likes!

Star Pano 001 was the quilting pattern.

The bright red border.

Coronado thread was used.

The dotted backing! Nice!

Rose Mary's Alphabet Quilt

Rose Mary embroidered these blocks and now it is ready for another great grand baby!

Sleepytime B2B was the quilting pattern.

White thread was used.

It will teach the baby his or her alphabet!

Even a unicorn!

The backing.

Rose Mary's Sunbonnet Sue Quilt

Rose Mary's friend gave her some embroidered blocks and Rose Mary put them together plus had to add another one and made this cute baby quilt. I believe a great-granddaughter will be the recipient of this quilt!

Butterflies and Flowers was the quilting pattern.

White thread was used.
