Lois's My Small World Quilt

Lois pieced this little masterpiece! It is of course a Jen Kingwell pattern, known for so may tiny pieces! It's so wide I could not get it in one picture so the sides follow.

I quilted it with Chestnut Swirls  to give it a good texture.

The thread was Sesame Seeds.

These represent hills and Lois appliqued them, a great feat! Click on the pictures for a closer look. The pieces are so small!!

A barn here with a couple of churn-dash blocks.

Pinwheels and more applique.

The fabrics are so varied and exciting!

More tiny pinwheels.

The sky and all the variations in it. I would hate to cut all those tiny squares.

These embroideries were suppose to be the Eiffel Tower and another landmark, but it is Lois's small world so she embroidered the Sidney Rodeo and a building in Riverton, near where she lives!

More applique.

The arrow blocks jump out.

Even a building here.

The top of the building and more sky prints.

Amazing quilt and job well done!

The bright backing.

Zachary's Quilt

He loves Spiderman and electric blue is  his favorite color so this is the perfect quilt for him.

Electric was the thread color.

Superhero Pano 006 was the quilting pattern.

He's going to love this quilt!

The backing which really shows Spidey!

Alexandria's College Throw Quilt

I quilted this piece of flannel onto a soft Luxe backing for a throw for granddaughter, Alexandria's, college dorm room. She is getting a bedspread that is gray and white that sort of looks like ticking so she chose these fabrics for her quilt. Just need to bind it and mail it off to her!

Rather hard to see in this photo but the quilting pattern was Cracker Jacks 001 and the thread color was Medium Grey.

I took this picture without a flash so the color isn't correct but it shows the quilting pattern a bit more.

Matt and Sarah's Go Big Red Quilt

Marge put this quilt together for her nephew, Matt and his wife Sarah.

Football Fun 5 was the quilting pattern quilted with Medium Grey thread.

They will love being wrapped up in this quilt while watching Nebraska football!

Irene's Snow Globe Quilt

Four of us embroidered these same blocks. Irene even did half of my blocks for me. This is her version of the Snow Globe Quilt and it is so pretty! We all used different fabrics for the blocks. Two people who shall remain nameless, have yet to complete their quilt. They just need to find backings. They know who they are,LOL!

I love the light fabrics that she used! And of course her embroidery skills are fantastic!

Swirling Snowflakes Pano 001 was the quilting pattern.

Flesh was the thread color.

Click on the pictures to get a closer look!

Wonderful job!

All hand embroidered.
