Riley's Quilt

Riley's grandmother, Ann, has pieced this magnificent batik quilt for him for Christmas!
It is a very large quilt and a wonderful collection of fabrics.

Barbara's Snowmen Quilt

This is the second snowman quilt that I have quilted. A group of quilters embroidered the blocks and then all pieced them together in a way of their own. Barbara chose to use lights and darks for the borders and it is a wonderful layout! The patterns were drawn by her niece and what a wonderful collection of snowmen! And a very nice winter quilt!

Snowflakes was the quilting pattern.

Pearl thread was used on this quilt.

The detail in the blocks is so neat!

Embroidering a set of these gentle snowmen is on my bucket list!

A Christmas Quilt for Sven & his family

I have traced my family tree for years and I had some letters written in German and I had them sitting around for years, not knowing what they might reveal. But lucky for me, my daughter got new neighbors and they are from Germany so I asked them if they would translate the letters and they did! I wanted to pay for the translations, but they did not send me a bill with the material so I decided that they needed a quilt!

I had a quilting pattern digitized just for this quilt with snowflakes and Merry Christmas written in English and German. I just hope I've spelled Merry Christmas in German correctly!

I used Ficelle thread.

I hope they like it!

Rick's Quilt

Dee put this quilt together for her brother, Rick! It's a golfing quilt and quite a gem! I am sure he will cherish this quilt! Nice!

She wanted a meandering type quilting pattern with golf clubs so I had this pattern made for this quilt. It has wood, irons, and a putter within the loops.

 Fisherman Red thread was used.

Polka Dot backing is just perfect!
