The Answer to Two Questions

There have been two questions unanswered around here for quite a length of time.  The first one being, what happens to all that cat food I keep buying? We have 3 cats and we also feed two male feral cats. So only 5 cats, but we seem to go through a lot of food.  The second question is, why do our cats like to catch and eat birds around here?

OK, what's he up to?

Well , he's eating the cat food! And he kept coming back for more!

And he kept eating and eating more Purina!
So this answers the questions. The birds are eating all of the cat food and the cats are eating the birds because they taste like the Purina cat food!  Makes sense to me!

Now this bluebird is trying to get a drink out of that pan, but it's frozen.  He ended up in the cat food, too, but I missed the picture!
