Sandy pieced this beautiful, did I say beautiful?, quilt! It was done by using 2 packages of layer cakes plus a little extra for a few blocks and then the black on black fabric. It makes quite a splash of color. I really DO need to make one of these quilts, so simple and so striking! Very well done!
The quilting pattern was one of my favorite, Chestnut Swirls.
Gunmetal Thread was used on this quilt.
The wonderful batik backing!
