Pippa visited this past weekend and decided that I needed to make her a new Christmas quilt.
She picked the charm pack and took quite a while arranging the blocks to make sure they were all evenly placed without a duplicate print or color next to each other, Then she dug into my stash and found the border fabric that she thought would work, the snowman fabric. After I sewed the rows together and added the borders, it was time to choose a quilting pattern and the thread color.
She paged through the Christmas patterns and settled on the Candy Cane Pano 002 pattern and after previewing several different thread colors, chose the Linen thread color that had a sparkle look to it.
She went back into my stash and found this fabric for the backing and it was time to quilt and she picked a red print for the binding and it was done. She spread out on the couch and covered herself with the new quilt and smiled and said it was just right! :)
