This quilt was originally hand embroidered and hand quilted by Stephanie's grandfather. He apparently made 18 of these quilts for family members. Stephanie wanted to use the quilt, however, it wasn't in the best condition. Her friend, Marge, brought it over to me with a new pink backing and had me quilt it to keep it in a better place. Marge had repaired torn areas of it but most remained intact. The embroidery is worn in places but most of it is in great condition. This is truly a wonderful keepsake!
Rose Stem Pano 001 was the quilting pattern, quilted with White thread.
This is the border area that runs on all sides of the quilt! What a wonderful quilt!
The backing which is a pale pink fabric.
