| This quilt is so large I was not able to get a picture of the entire quilt. Brian pieced this quilt. It's his first quilt, yep, I said his FIRST quilt!!The quilt patterns were meant to be handed out during the 2020 Nebraska shop hop, but of course that did not happen. The quilt was made up at his local quilt shop and he was given their quilt block pattern plus 5 bonus block patterns and then he visited one other quilt shop and got their pattern so he had 7 of the patterns. He then looked at each pattern and drafted the remaining block patterns. He does have one great tool on his side in learning how to piece, and that is his mother who is a longtime quilter! You can see that he has inherited much of her DNA so of course he was able to make this magnificent quilt! |
