Kay's Applique Quilt

My sister-in-law, Kay, hand appliqued these blocks over the years and when we visited her last year, she handed them over to me and asked me to finish the quilt for her.  To my surprise, she said she wanted me to keep the quilt when I was done!!! Happy Dance here!!!
I just love this center block, she choose all fabrics for all of the blocks out of her sash of fabrics.
I custom quilted the quilt using a crosshatch pattern, a leaf pattern and a floral pattern.
I used Almond thread for the entire quilt.
I will cherish this quilt forever!! Such a gift!
