Mimi made this magnificent quilt. All the print fabric is Liberty of London that included 180 fat 16ths pieces and it was up to her to make the decision on what prints went with each different block pattern. She fussy cut the tiny pieces and hand pieced the hexies using the English paper piecing technique. Her hand stitches are so tiny, too! The fabrics have so many interesting prints with animals, flowers and everything in between. Fantastic accomplishment!
I custom quilted the quilt using Joy B2B as the background pattern in the white areas and Hex Swirl Hex on the hexagons. The border pattern was Brendas Tulips Border. All done with white thread.
Take a look at some of these blocks.

Alice in Wonderland characters in this block!
The backing using leftover blocks of her fabrics. If you have not felt Liberty of London fabrics, they feel like silk!
