Lisa's Flower Quilt

Here is the second quilt that Lisa made for her other daughter! That's a whole lot of strips and sewing! Very nice!

Lisa chose the Daisy Pano 005 for the quilting pattern on this quilt.

Her other daughter will love this one, too!

The backing on this quilt, so cheerful!

Isn't this a fun quilt? Lori pieced it for her daughter-in-law's niece, Michal. I am pretty sure Michal will love it!

Spring Green thread was the choice.

Atom Pano 001 was the quilting pattern.

This is one of the border prints that are on 2 sides of the quilt.

Bob's Bear Paw Quilt

Patty made this quilt for her brother-in-law, Bob! First of all I would say he's one lucky in-law!! She asked him to let her know what kind of quilt and kind of fabric he wanted in a quilt and he sent a picture of the bear paw pattern and told her batiks! He obviously pays attention to fabrics and patterns ! EEK!
So she got busy and practically pieced the whole thing in a weekend and then found the delicious BEAR BATIK fabric to go with it and she will deliver it this weekend to Washington state where they live on a 20 acre spread of land on an island ! Maybe I should have offered to deliver it to him.....

Camel thread was the thread choice.

Through the Trees 3 was the quilting pattern.

The glorious piano key border.

And she even mitered the corners! Who does that??!!

Is this backing so cool or what?

Beary Nice!!!

Sheri's Linter Family Quilt

Sheri made this quilt for her step-daughter and her family. Each star was made for each person in the family. They each  chose colors that they wanted. Her step- daughter chose the green so she is the center star, her husband is the red star around it and the four children are represented by the red, blue, orange and purple stars. Then each set of friendship stars have the siblings with a step sib  (2 and 2 Brady Bunch style!) so they surround the center and what a happy family quilt!!!

Hearts and Stars was the quilting pattern.

Ellie's Quilt

Once upon a time, there was a little 4 year old who wanted to learn to embroider. So her grandmother gave her a tea towel and showed her how to do the stem stitch and the satin stitch . Ellie drew her pictures on the tea towel and then she proceeded to embroider on the lines. Years later, her aunt Amy decided that this needed to be quilted so I custom quilted it lightly with  floral designs and this will be given as a surprise to Ellie as a Christmas gift. Won't she be surprised to see this!

Grandmother's house!

Custom quilting on this.

White thread was used.

Her cute flowers all in a row!

Too cute!
