I found this log cabin quilt at a small antique shop and bought it for a song. I decided to do an all over design as the quality of the fabrics wasn't the best. But I thought it worked out well! |
I used Sticky Buns, a good one to flatten the quilt. |
I used Cranberry thread to sort of kick it up a notch. |
Until I quilted it, I did not see the lights and dark rows which go across the quilt. |
The large center reds are a bit of a change in pattern style. And there is a lot of the white and black big check fabric, very interesting. |

It was quite a decision for the choice of thread color, but Brooke ended up choosing Keywest Lime for the thread and it was a very good choice! |
