Delores's Happy Trails Quilt

This pattern is called Happy Trails and Delores has pieced it with all shades of green and poinsettia plants. A great Christmas quilt!

Holly B2B was the quilting pattern.

The borders.

Swiss Chocolate was the thread used.

Very nice and ready for the coming season.

The backing is really shades of black, the light when this picture was taken makes it look a lot lighter than it really appears to be.

Delores's Fall Table Runner

Delores put this cute little table runner together just in time for Fall which is right around the corner. OK, let's say about 22 days from now, but it's good to be ahead of the game!

Spice Brown thread and Meandering Loops were used on the runner.

The sunflower backing. Cute!

Nic's T-shirt Quilt

Lin put this t-shirt quit together for her son, Nic. Nic LOVES Notre Dame.
So he gathered up all of his prized shirts and let his mom cut them up to make this wonderful quilt.

Shamrocks was the quilting pattern.

Navy thread was used.

There is a rumor that it will be a wall hanging in their house, has to be a large wall!

Did I mention that Nic was an avid fan of ND?

He even traveled to Ireland for this game!

A whole lot of chain sawing going on here!

My husband has just started working on learning how to chain saw animals, birds, whatever comes to mind. So far these are a few he made the first week. Mr. Hoot.
They all just need eyes, looking for the right size of black marbles.

The bear that has yet to be named.

Smokey the Bear?

A Wyoming Cabin Quilt

This is one awesome quilt and again, I wanted to keep it but Sara won't let me. She made it for their cabin in Wyoming where flannel and cozy go together for the cool nights that are approaching at some point!

Fly Fishing was the quilting pattern used.

Peasant Beige was the thread used.

This flannel is SOFT!

Sara pieced this whole quilt in 3 days and brought it to me late last night. She's taking it to Wyoming on the weekend so it had to be done!

I was thinking of curling up in this quilt, but 1. Not appropriate for a customer quilt and 2. It's 99 degrees !

This soft blue is to die for!

The fishy borders!

A Quilt of Valor for Gifford

Linda's brother was in the Vietnam war so she decided that he needed a quilt of valor and this is what she made! Very nice and patriotic!

Where Eagles Dare is the quilting pattern.

Fisherman Red thread was used.

She thinks he will hang it in his new living room in Arizona.

The backing that really shows the eagles.

He will love it!

Nice!

Merry Wish Joy Quilt

Well I finished this quilt yesterday! It was a kit by Kansas Troubles that was called Merry Joy Wish. There were templates for raw edge wording for the border, but I chose not to put that on this quilt.

I used Holly Rose for the quilting pattern.

I used Spice Brown thread.

The borders.

The pieces are all topstitched using a raw edge concept, nothing pieced on the stars themselves.

One less in the pile of UFO's!

The backing.
